Buckle up everyone, football is back.
The Premier League will return, with Liverpool FC on the verge of a historic title.
With the Champions League and relegation spots also to be decided, there is plenty to look forward to. Here is your guide to the big Premier League return.
The title race
Liverpool were tantalisingly close to wrapping up the title before the season was temporarily halted. Without a top-flight success since 1990, Jurgen Klopp’s side romped towards the title with 27 wins from 29 games. Manchester City have been utterly inconsistent by comparison and lie 25 points behind in 2nd place. With Klopp’s men only needing two wins to put the title beyond City’s reach, consider the title race finished.

Race for the top-four
Manchester City are lagging behind Liverpool but will almost certainly do enough to finish in the second spot. The final two Champions League qualification spots are the subject of intense competition, though.
Leicester City are in third and looked nailed on for a top-three finish earlier in the season. Brendan Rodgers’ team were stuttering before the break though and will face basically every team competing for the top four before the season ends. Don’t bet against them dropping out if their so-so form continues. Frank Lampard and Chelsea are hanging on in fourth spot and face a real battle to stay there, with a host of teams below them waiting to pounce.
Manchester United feature heavily in the latest casino and sports news in UK sites, unsurprising, as they are arguably one of the biggest clubs on the planet. Despite remaining a huge club, the Red Devils have been stagnant for some time, and need a top-four finish to demonstrate that they are making some kind of progress. They sit three points from the fourth spot, and have their work cut out to sneak into Europe’s top competition.
Below Manchester United are Wolves, Sheffield United, and Spurs; all hungry to exploit any slip-ups, and each one of them could feasibly finish in the top four with a good run of form.
Relegation spots
Now, this is where it gets really interesting. Norwich City are six points from safety and can probably be considered a shoo-in for relegation to The Championship.
Above them, things are a lot tighter. The five teams from 15th to 19th are all within four points of each other, and are all in real danger of relegation.
Aston Villa are on 25 points, yet have the advantage of having a game in hand on the other teams. Heavily reliant on the creative talents of Jack Grealish, they have a real chance of staying up if they can hit the ground running.

West Ham, Watford, and Bournemouth are all on 27 points, highlighting the tight nature of the bottom end of the table.
Brighton & Hove Albion are on 29 points and still vulnerable and, above them, there is a gap up to Southampton on 34 points, who are probably safe barring a total collapse.
