Dress Up Your Pet Day, a calendar observance that gives animal lovers the incentive to dress their pets, from cats to piglets, is on the horizon.
Here at MM we’d love Manchester to get involved with this wonderous occassion, held every year on January 14, so we decided to put together some inspirtation from years gone by.
Pets in costumes from films like Harry Potter, Star Wars and even Breakfast at Tiffany’s have been posted on social media since the event was first established.
Colleen Paige, Pet & Family Lifestyle expert from America founded the national day in 2009 and it is now celebrated worldwide by pet lovers.
Pet owners who are excited at the thought of their animals dressed as a lobster, or a ‘hot dog’, should remember to put their animal’s safety first and not put them in anything uncomfortable which could harm them.
The day exists to celebrate the relationship owners have with their pets – and their impeccable fashion sense.
