MM staff would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and say a big thank you to all our readers for their support throughout 2015.
It’s been another fantastic year for the city and we’ve enjoyed every minute of bringing you the latest online news, features, sport and reviews from across Greater Manchester.
If you’re heading out on the town over the festive period, stay safe, and don’t do anything we wouldn’t…
Whatever you do, remember to spread the love at Corn Exchange’s new Kissing Quarter.
Some of you will be swapping boozing and present giving in rainy old Manchester for sun and sand, or maybe even snow, elsewhere but remember not to pack any Christmas crackers or cranberry sauce – we heard they cause confusion.
Let’s also celebrate the amazing work people have been doing all over the region to bring joy to the most vulnerable.
The Snow Angels are on standby to keep the streets frost free, Salix Homes are taking gifts to homeless families, and Ronald McDonald House are making sure seriously ill kids can have their families close by.
As always, to those of you staying in beside the fire, make sure you watch It’s a Wonderful Life at some point. It’s MM tradition.
