The Printworks celebrate 15 years and 118m visitors with big birthday weekend bash

The Printworks turns 15 this weekend, and to celebrate, the entertainment venue is hosting a raucous birthday bash filled with live music.

The old printing house was turned into a £150million multiplex at the turn of the century, and in the subsequent 15 years, has welcomed more than 118million people through its doors.

DJ Seno, Julia Aljaz, and many more local artists will take to the stage to help the venue celebrate on Saturday.

And Sunday takes on a more relaxed, soulful vibe, as it welcomes back favourites from this summer’s Soul Festival.

Fred Booth, the Centre Director said: “We are holding the big birthday weekend not only to celebrate all that The Printworks has achieved.

“But also to say a huge thank-you to all our team, tenants, and visitors.

“We hope everyone who comes along has a great time. Here’s to the next amazing fifteen years!”
