Police have released CCTV images of two people they want to speak to after an 81-year-old woman was targeted by distraction burglars in Bury.
At 2.10pm on Friday 16 October 2015, the pensioner was about to withdraw money from a cash machine from Barclays Bank on Central Street at The Rock shopping complex when a man started to talk to her.
Without her knowing, a woman took her card before both made off.
They withdrew money from two cash machines moments later before the card was cancelled.
Police Constable Aaron McFadden said: “The victim was distracted as she put her pin number in and the person who was behind her took the card. They then used the card to withdraw a large amount of money from her account.
CCTV: Police want to speak to these two people about the burglar
“We have obtained two images and I would ask anyone who may recognise them to call police. The woman is understandably upset she could have been targeted in such a away and we are determined to find those responsible.”
