After two cancelled dates, the 12th season of X factor auditions will take place tomorrow at EventCity in Manchester.
Audition dates were postponed following the death of Simon Cowell’s 89-year-old mother on Sunday July 5 due to a reported stroke.
Applause Store, the company with exclusive ticket rights to the talent shows, has kept fans up to date via their twitter account.
Late last night the decision was made to cancel today’s performance, with an additional day of auditions scheduled to Thursday.

The company broke the news of the cancellations on Sunday night, after reports of Mr Cowell’s mother’s death began to circulate.
They originally reported ‘unforeseen’ circumstances for the cancellation before posting this heartfelt message of condolence:
Such sad news about the passing of Simon Cowell’s mother. A truly elegant & wonderful lady. All our thoughts are with the entire family

Mr Cowell will reportedly be attending the auditions for both dates and will be joined by a new line-up of judges: Rita Ora, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, and Nick Grimshaw.
EventCity based in Manchester and hosting the event is the largest exhibition space outside of London.
