When Jackson Yamba and his family made their way from Brazzaville in the Republic of Congo for Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo in 1997, it was the start of a long and eventful journey that would eventually lead him to Salford where in 2019 he was sadly the target of racist abuse on his door.
