COMMUNITY group Love Withington jointly organised ‘Christmas in Withington’, supported by Withington Civic Society.

The group aims to provide a meaningful link between students and residents, by highlighting what it means to celebrate their area and engage in community life.

The large turnout of families and residents at the event on December 4, at Rutherford place, represented a big success for the group, and their festive feast of carols, Christmas treats and a visit from Santa himself.

The group says that such community events “will all lead to a common vision of Love Withington, in a variety of ways.”
