HUNTED: Violent attacker wanted by police

By Dean Wilkins

A violent drinker who attacked a girl in a Manchester city centre bar is being pursued by police.

The 21-year-old victim was on a night out in Northern Quarter’s Moho Live Club, Tib Street, when she was attacked by another girl.

She was in the toilets before being kicked in the face multiple times for which she required hospital treatment.

PC Sean Downey from North Manchester CID said: “The victim is very lucky she was not more seriously injured. There were a number of people around at the time of this incident and we are sure some of them must have seen something.”

The offender is described as white with a tanned complexion, dark hair, approximately 23-years-old and wore a white dress.

He added: “We have been carrying out a number of inquiries to identify the woman responsible for this attack. We hope that by releasing this image it will encourage witnesses to come forward to assist with our investigation.”

Anyone with information can contact the police directly on 0161 856 6112 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
