Oldham Athletic are hoping to repeat their Liverpool heroics against Everton with ITV again selecting their clash for live coverage.
The cameras will return to Boundary Park on February 16th to broadcast Oldham against Liverpool’s Merseyside rivals Everton.
The tie is a reverse of the 2008 third round clash which the Latics won at Goodison Park – thanks to Gary McDonald’s strike.
The game will complete a hat-trick of television appearances for Oldham this season with the Liverpool game on ITV and the League Cup tie against Sheffield Wednesday on Sky.
Both sides will receive £233,200 for appearing on TV while the prize money on offer to the winner will be £180,000.
This is on top of the £225,850 Athletic secured in the previous round by being on TV and beating Liverpool.
With finances tight at the club the news comes as a welcome relief to Oldham chairman Simon Corney.
"The finances are handy but we would have got through the season with or without the cup run. Now we get through it easier,” said Corney after the Liverpool match.
Both Manchester United and Manchester City will be on ESPN, City facing Leeds on February 17 at 2pm and the Reds against Reading the following day at 8pm.
Oldham’s fifth round tie against Everton will kick-off at 6pm on February 16.
