HAZARD'S HOPE: Star wants Chelsea move

By Dean Wilkins

Eden Hazard is going to Chelsea next season despite flirting with both Manchester City and United.

The 21-year-old starlet ended speculation about his summer transfer by announcing his decision to join the Champions League winners yesterday.

The Belgian playmaker has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League’s top two clubs since last summer but he has ‘made up his mind’ about a move to the London.

The Lille star Tweeted: "I'm signing for the champions league winner."

Hazard has been keeping his French side, English clubs and fans in the dark by letting people know he had made a decision but chose not to reveal it.

But Chelsea and Lille have not confirmed any deal for Hazard – who has been valued at £32million – and French reports claim the star agreed a five-year deal with his current team.

A Chelsea spokesman said: "As with all transfers, when we have something to announce, we will announce it in the usual way."
