An 86-year-old woman is trapped under a double-decker bus on Piccadilly Gardens.
Emergency crews are battling to save the woman, who is believed to have severe head and leg injuries.
At around 2.52pm the victim was caught under the front right wheel while crossing the road between Mosley Street and the bus station outside Primark.
