Man's body found on M67 motorway near Denton after falling from bridge – motorists warned of traffic disruption

A man’s body was found on a motorway carriage near Denton after falling off a bridge this morning.

Emergency services arrived at a railway bridge on the M67 at St Annes Road at around 5am and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

There are severe disruptions in place and motorists are being warned to avoid using the westbound carriageway between junctions three and four as they remain closed.

The man’s death is not being treated as suspicions and the incident will now be passed to a coroner.
