Two people are being treated in hospital as firefighters battle a huge blaze at a Littleborough factory.
The fire broke out before 1pm today when people reported seeing a plume of smoke billowing from a building on Calderbrook Road.
Emergency crews found silos of solvent on fire and they are warning residents to close their doors and windows.
Two workers required medical treatment, although neither is believed to be in a life threatening condition. One man was taken to hospital for treatment to burns to his arm.
The other man was contaminated with bitumen and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
Road closures are currently in place as a precaution while the area is made safe, and these are expected to remain in place until the early evening.
Access for local residents is being facilitated.
Ten crews are currently tackling the blaze and are putting foam on to extinguish it.
