Team GB’s Shanaze Reade has been embarrassingly misnamed on a giant poster.
The Visa poster, situated just outside London Paddington station, pictured the Olympic BMX racer but paired it with the name of Paralympic long jumper and sprinter Stefanie Reid.
Reade is part of the Team GB cycling team who are based at the National Cycling Centre here in Manchester.
Reade said on Twitter: “Just noticed that my name is Stefanie Reid on the billboard, at least it sounds similar.”
A Visa spokeswoman said the error was caused when a poster of Stefanie Reid was posted on the same wall and the name panels were mixed up accidentally.

Visa is one of London 2012’s principle sponsors and is working alongside athletes as they prepare for the games starting later this summer.
Reade is a definite medal hope for Team GB and will hope to improve after crashing out in the Beijing Olympics in 2008 when strongly touted for success.
