A Greater Manchester teacher accused of sexually abusing seven young schoolboys was cleared of all 20 charges today.

Neil Carr, 25, strongly denied all 20 claims that he supposedly carried out acts of sexual indecency but after a five-week trial at Minshull Street Crown Court he was cleared.

The alleged victims, their parents, Mr Carr’s relatives and colleagues all gave evidence throughout the case.

The school where the incidents allegedly took place has been left divided by the accusations.
