A young mother who was killed while pushing her son in a pram in Bolton was identified today.
Dawn Graves, 25, was going to the shops for a pint of milk when she was struck by a lorry in a horrific collision at around 12.20pm yesterday on Bury Road.
Ms Graves died at the scene but her 20-month-old boy miraculously survived and was treated at a hospital for minor injuries.
Sergeant Matt Bailey-Smith, of Greater Manchester Police, said: "This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the family and friends at this difficult time.
"They are receiving support from a specially trained officer.
"An investigation is under way and I ask anyone who may have witnessed the collision or have information to contact us."
