Internationally-acclaimed British pop singer/songwriter Taio Cruz took time out before performing at Key 103 Live to chat to MM.
He enthused about performing in Manchester and seemed fired up for his performance.
“I love gigging in Manchester, it’s pretty much my favourite stop whenever I’m touring in the UK.”
The Dynamite singer was full of praise for his fellow performers, with particular note to the success of One Direction.
“There’s so many people even here tonight that I would like to collaborate with, as well as artists in the charts in general.”
Taio reels off a list of megastars he has been working with recently, including writing a single for Cody Simpson, working on Ke$ha’s new album, and working behind the scenes for Rihanna, as well as working with David Guetta, and touring in August with Pitbull.
He added: “Like with anything it has been a lot of hard work but it’s a fun job so it doesn’t feel too hard all the time. Doing what I do, you get to make music for a living and do what you love for a living.
“I just really enjoy performing, putting my music out there to be heard and for fans to come out and experience it live.”
