ALCOHOL TRAIL: World of Whisk(e)y

By Dean Wilkins

Manchester’s finest alcohol educators The Liquorists are returning with another in depth exploration of spirits with The World of Whisk(e)y Trail.

The Liquorists, who promise ‘sauce sessions with a difference’, formed in early 2010 and categorise themselves as part drink experts and part tour guides.

This April and May sees the return of their highly popular trails, with The Liquorists aiming to delve into whisky from across the globe; from Ireland to North America to Japan.

Liquorist Director Tom Sneesby said: “We want to educate people about just how good drinks can be and give people a taste experience that they won’t forget in a hurry.”

Each tour member will be treated to five neat whisky samples with each being paired to a perfectly matched canapé. Next up will be a selection of fine cocktails, which are tailored to suit each whisky, in an array of the city’s finest bars: Trof, Apotheca, Socio Rehab, Noho and a secret finale venue.

Prices for this fantastic event start from £30 and trails are organised each Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
