Doctor had to call police in his clinic because patient was very abusive,While arresting that patient ,patient asked to police officer what about freedom of speech.
Police replied it only if you insult islam then you will get away with freedom of speech otherwise not.

Yesterday Man was sacked from work because he licked confedential inforamation.He appealed that he has freedom of speech but he failed.

Fist of all,All non-muslims commenting here are not supporting muslims or understanding what is all about.

If some one is saying freedom of speech can he go to police station and abuse to on duty office starting with F*c off then you will get the answer of freedom of speech.

The Holy Prophet's response is surely how one should respond to such flagrant plots to hurt and insult over a billion members of this planet .
Now the question is what was his response to insults and abuse? We know from history , there was a lady who would on a daily basis insult Muhammad (pbuh) , and on the day when she did not appear at the same place to insult him , he went out of his way to enquire if she was ok and whether he could help her?
As a Muslim,what will be the result of taking part in a protest peaceful or otherwise. Will it stop the insults or abuse? Ofcourse not .Surely our collective response should be one of sincere prayer that God almighty guides those who intentionally or unintentionally wish to hurt us . We should also respond with kindness as the prophet (pbuh) did with his enemies not with harshness.
Our actions should encourage our non Muslim brothers and sisters to want to read about Islam and should have a positive reflection on the character of our Prophet. He was the ambassador of peace . Ask yourself would he encourage a protest ( peaceful or otherwise ) or would he wake up in the early hours and pray for those who persecuted him and his followers .
Non Muslim brothers and sisters , read about his life to find out the truth about him and please pick a unbiased account by an acacademic .

Has anyone watched the video in question? It looks like it has been dubbed over in the offensive parts. For example, if you watch it from around 2.45 the quality of the sound changes for a moment and if you look closely at the lips it looks like he is saying "Johna" or something similar. The same thing happens with all the offensive comments although this is the most obvious one. I think we could be being manipulated.

Free speech....you can't say anything sexist, racist, homophobic... but when its about our beloved prophet its free speech! All Muslims should unite and protest. (Peacefully)

Well it was a very disturbing time... I just went shopping and I have no idea what all these foreign johnnies were all screaming about but... they need to be more tolerant I reckon and need grow a sense of humour. IT WAS SHIT. I don't care.

Yes I know this goes against the grain but I am going to take a deep breath and try and stand up for the americans (shudders).

At the moment there are a LOT of violent protests against them (the yanks) because of a film that was filmed in the us that is alledgedly anti-islam, (I say alledgedly as I havent seen it, I have only heard second hand accounts of it). If this film is so offensive then sure peaceful protests are acceptable, but against the people responsible. So here is the question? If all of these protests are aimed at the us government when it was shot by a private citizen that was a known confidence trickster using private fianance I have to ask why? Not only did the us government not sponsor the filming of the film (ok alledgedly but given the track record of the CIA, NSA and other various bodies of the us government in this area I am willing at a later date to change my view on this). Surely if the protests are aimed at those who are to blame the protests should be aimed at the film maker and the country that he came from and where he got his money from to be able to afford to make the film. Agreed? So why are the protests not demanding retrebution against Eygpt? The confidence trickster that wrote, produced, directed and fianced the film was EYGPTIAN who earned the vast majority of his money in EYGPT doing business with the Eygptian government.

So yes next time there is time for protest against this film, lets have it against somebody who is responsible for it.
