Gay couple win dream wedding planning package competition

A gay couple are celebrating after winning the chance of having their dream wedding planned for them, thanks to a Manchester-based firm.

Kevin Proctor and Andrew McNicholas won the Ultimate Civil Partnership Planning Package, which is set to offer its services free of charge for the next 11 months to the victorious pair.

The Manchester-based company, The Civil Partnership Planner, offers four packages to its clients, The Big Day, The Final Countdown, The Complete Works and The Choice is Yours.

These packages offer an array of services from allowing you the hands-on approach (package one) to the couple handing all responsibility to the planning team (package four).

Package two even allows couples, who are under strain, and with a matter of weeks until the big day, a chance for the finer details to be organised for them.

With all the arrangements out of the way the couple will have a chance to relax before their impending nuptials.

Founder of Ultimate Civil Partnership Planning Package, Andrew Jackson, said of the couple’s reaction: “They were really chuffed with the news.”

His first face-to-face meeting with them is planned for later this month, when they will discuss Kevin and Andrew’s plans for the wedding.
