Bohemia Bar & Grill’s summer menu @ Castlefield, Manchester

Located in the heart of Castlefield, Bohemia bar and grill is hoping to bring the sun to Manchester as it launches its new outdoor deck area and summer BBQ menu.

The deck was unveiled last night against the backdrop of a folk duo gently singing along to the lilt of a harmonica and acoustic guitar.

This is sure to be the perfect place for canal-side views and people-watching ahead of everyone’s favourite season.

The new summer BBQ will go down a treat, combining the best of the Mediterranean with British classics such as sumptuous beef and chicken burgers.

A choice of surf, turf or vegetable kebabs ensures all appetites are catered for.

The delicately glazed prawn and lamb with mixed roasted peppers sets a high benchmark for budding barbequers across Manchester.

The beef burgers, topped with a lightly grilled tomato, melted in the mouth and were seasoned to perfection.

The chicken option didn’t disappoint either and proved to be succulent and delicious.

The halloumi kebab offers a delectable vegetarian option which when lightly browned on the grill bring outs its rich and distinct flavor.

For the meat-eaters in the party the lamb kebabs were bursting with flavour and tasted delicious.

Next up were the prawns which were juicy and complemented by the sweet and sticky glaze.

A vast array of cocktails and classics were available including sparkling flutes of crisp champagne and lemon sorbet which went down nicely, followed by a glass of sangria or two.

Servings of the classic BBQ beverage, Pimms, were presented beautifully and piled up with heaps of summer fruits. Just the way a Pimms in the sunshine should be.

If that doesn’t suit your taste then a selection of perfectly chilled continental beers, including Heineken and Sol should do the trick.

With summer hot on our heels, we hope, vast parasols will provide much-needed protection come rain or shine.

But regardless of the weather Bohemia is a great place to kick back, relax and enjoy delicious food and drink.
