Oldham residents are showing their support for the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia by proudly flying the rainbow flag.
The Council are joining in the celebrations tomorrow by tackling hate crime and discrimination and marking the event at the Civic Centre from 7.30am.
IDAHO marks the date when the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from its list of mental illnesses in 1990 and thousands across Greater Manchester will show their backing.
All Youth Centres across Oldham will be flying the Rainbow Flag as part of this year's theme to tackle the issue against homophobia and transphobia through education.
Greater Manchester Police officers will also be raising the flag in the public demonstration of support.
