Creamfields' epic 2012 festival line-up boasts Manchester's finest DJs, including Chemical Brothers, Eddie Halliwell and MM's Jordan Suckley

By Sophia Rahman

Creamfields are bringing some of biggest names in electronic music to Cheshire this August bank holiday weekend, including many of Manchester’s finest acts.

The Chemical Brothers, who formed while at the University of Manchester, are headlining the Annie Mac stage, and Greater Manchester-born Eddie Halliwell will be hosting his own arena, Fire It Up.

Mancunian Matters’ own columnist Jordan Suckley will headlining the Nation stage.

Suckley, who recently secured a monthly slot on BBC Radio 1’s In New DJ’s We Trust, has been tipped as ‘one to watch’ this year by both Mixmag and beatport.

He said: “As far as festivals go, Creamfields is one of the best in the world, always delivering the biggest line-ups every year.

“It’s a real privilege to be featured alongside so many great artists.

“I just hope I can se as many of them as I can while I’m there!”

The festival will bring dozens of dance artists to rural Daresbury over two days and three nights playing over a sprawling nine stages.

Acts from the commercial house DJ David Guetta, to metal-infused dubstep producer Skrillex, to electro maestro Erol Alkan will perform.

Sankeys’ favourite Gareth Emery will be returning for another year, and Manchester-based Alex Kidd will also be performing, as well as local collaboration North Base.

The full line-up so far is:
