The family of a Bolton man who died from a stab wound to the neck yesterday are paying tribute to him.
Mark Wood, 28, was killed at a house on Ashton Street, Little Lever, after police received a call about a domestic incident at the address.
Officers arrived at around 3am on June 12 and found Mr Wood suffered a stab wound to the neck. The victim was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
His family said in tribute: "Mark was a loving son, brother and father. He will be remembered for having a great sense of humour.
"He was a true friend to many and will be greatly missed by all. He enjoyed listening to music and playing on his Xbox.
"His family and friends are devastated by the news of his death."
Police arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of murder and have had their questioning time extended as inquiries continue.
