It’s been an icy cold week in Manchester, but that hasn’t deterred the city’s most stylish from donning hats, scarves and faux fur a-plenty to stay cosy, yet chic.

We scoured the city for our favourite looks, asking shoppers what they’d like to receive this Valentine’s Day.

Name: Jessica Owen (spotted on Market Street, pictured below)

Perfect Valentine’s Day gift: “I don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day. If I had to say something, probably some good food somewhere.”

Perfect Valentine’s Day gift: “Sweet FA” (we’re taking this to mean a Sweet Furry Animal. Soft toys are big business for Valentine’s Day).
