X Factor Misha B's Trafford College enjoying more students' success as they become faces of JD Sports

By James Haviland

X-Factor contestant Misha B might currently be Trafford College Music Base’s most well-known student but two of her class mates are now set for nationwide fame.

Newton Heath twins, Jahz and Darius Duncan, both from the same Vocal Artist class as Misha are now the new faces of JD Sport’s national ad campaign.

From their original online application the twins were two of 400 hopefuls invited to what JD Sport described as the coolest casting event to hit Manchester.

The event involved DJs and Break dancers and the opportunity to be photographed by a top LA based photographer.

The next day eight winners including Jahz and Darius were picked up by chauffer and driven to a photo shoot where they selected their clothing from JD’s forthcoming Winter Collection with a professional team of stylists.

The finished photos can be seen around Manchester and the country on billboards, bus sides and in-store.

I've seen these posters

I've seen these posters around the city centre but didn't realise they were local lads. Always good to see some local people get a break!
