Two of Manchester’s Northern Quarter establishments, Keko Moku and Almost Famous Burgers will combine for a ‘Hot Doggin’’ tonight.
Hungry punters will be in for a treat as a great selection of classic American-style frankfurters served with an extensive range of toppings will be on offer.
Almost Famous Burgers are a former pop-up shop that became extremely popular through the use of social media websites Facebook and Twitter, becoming renowned for its young and trendy clientele.
Likewise, Keko Moku is a beach hut rum dive bar that has proved a hit amongst students.
The hot dogs themselves will be provided by Almost Famous with Keko Moku offering a choice of rum cocktails to wash them down with, including flaming skull sharers and special secret shots amongst many others.
Past team-ups between the two have proved to be massive hits as hungry crowds queued around the block to eagerly devour the food on offer.
Some of the delights include the ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter’, featuring coconut beef brisket, shaved coconut, mango, pineapple salsa and tikiyaki sauce, as well as the fantastically named ‘Snoop Dog Gang Banger’, topped with ‘Drop it like it’s Hot’ beef chilli.
Northern Quarter revellers are in for a ‘rum-fuelled hot dog munchin’ tiki shakin’ Wednesday night’. Hot Doggin’ commences from 5pm this evening- get there early to avoid disappointment.
