Star-studded launch of The Alchemist @ New York Street, Manchester Piccadilly
Shaken, stirred and served on the rocks – the launch of one of Manchester’s premier cocktail bars in Piccadilly was celebrated in opulent style last night.
The Alchemist opened its doors on New York Street to a host of VIPs and celebrity guests, including stars from Coronation Street, Shameless and Big Brother.
The team of mixologists created a wide variety of Big Apple-inspired cocktails to tantalise the senses and ensure that this was a party no-one would forget.
Using key design elements of the Spinningfields’ bar, regular customers will recognise the stylish décor accents.

The Alchemist's trademark distressed leather Union Jack-embossed sofas, quirky light fittings and elegant outdoor seating arrangements make it the perfect after-work drinks venue.

And although it has expanded beyond the parameters of Spinningfields’ luxury retail quarter, I’m sure this chic cocktail bar will find itself well-placed to serve the needs of the city centre’s suited and booted.
