The Suns, Death to the Strange and Missed You at the Show are to take the stage at the regular music night which strives to champion new local talent, and is hosted in association with Mancunian Matters.

The maiden Northern Sessions will take place on Sunday, May 27 and tickets are £5 advanced and £7 on the door.

Death to the Strange will provide the perfect Northern hors d'oeuvres as this engaging quintet are set to expand upon their support slots with James and Get Cape Wear Cape Fly.

Their appealing personas will be followed by Missed You at the Show who are a result of Manchester’s iconic musical history inspiring the works of others. The international band met while studying at the University of Salford and never looked back.

Fresh from supporting the likes of Cast at The Ritz the rip-roaring success of Missed You at the Show will dawn the stage for the launch of Manchester’s soul, Manchester’s rock and Manchester’s roll.

Before welcoming on the night’s champion headliners there will be an inviting bar offering the finest cocktails in town and top notch grub all in Manchester’s entertainment epicentre.

The stage will then be set for Chester groovers The Suns who have been rising high above England’s skyline. The country-rock inspired five-piece have had Clint Boon declaring that they’re ‘the kind of band I want to be in’.

The headliners' fresh sound is a collection of Latino vibes intertwined with American garage rock and the night will be capped off by a band who are electric in live performances.

The night will be caressed through to the end by one of the city’s finest DJs spinning the best in indie, alternative and even a touch of Madchester, so be sure to keep the drinks flowing and those feet moving.
