Body found in water: Police discover corpse in Manchester Ship Canal near MediaCityUK

A body was found in the Manchester Ship Canal near MediaCityUK, Salford, this morning.

Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the corpse found at 9.35am today.

Officers have cordoned off the area nearby as inquiries continue.
