Sharethematch ambassador Andy Gray was talking exclusively to Mancunian Matters….
Manchester United might have only got a point from the game against Chelsea but the real value will come in what it could do for the rest of their season.
Coming from three goals down to draw 3-3 against a team like Chelsea is a fantastic result and it really could be a turning point in their season and be the game that propels them to the league title.
I thought it was a game that was littered with errors from both sides and it wasn’t a classic in the way that we’ve seen some classics in the past.
The two penalties for United might have been, might not have been and there were a couple of bad goals for Untied to concede.
But I think that we didn’t learn anything new about United because that’s what United do – come back from the brink and never give in.
They’ve spent 20 years doing that, going into those situations and managing to find a way out of it. So we didn’t learn anything new about United except they’re really determined to win the championship and keep hold of the title because they know if they don’t then they’re probably thinking that Manchester City will.
So there’s an extra incentive for United this season that probably hasn’t been there in the past and of course it’s the only thing that they can win this year after being dumped out of the Champions League and FA Cup.
It’s the only thing left for them that they will want to win so that’s another incentive for Fergie’s boys.

United would have walked off that pitch thinking they had won it after being 3-0 down with half an hour to go.
And they will be looking to build on that feeling and keep charging on, trying to stop City from taking their title.
