Preview: Sleigh Bells @ Sound Control – March 2

By Karl Dyer

Leading off the back of their successful debut album 'Treats', with its gems 'Kids', 'Infinity Guitars' and 'Riot Rhythm', Sleigh Bells will bring their follow up record 'Reign Of Terror' to Manchester.

Brooklyn-based duo Sleigh Bells have become synonymous with noise. Pure noise. They’re pioneers of what has now been dubbed as thrash noise pop and Derek E. Miller and Alexis Krauss will play Sound Control to hand out a heavy dose of their triumphant rock.

Their highly anticipated second album has already created a buzz around music blogs with new tracks 'Born To Lose' and 'Comeback Kid' racking up the hits on YouTube and Soundcloud. When it lands on February 14, 'Reign Of Terror' is set to build on what Sleigh Bells’ fans know - Krauss’ twisted vocals teamed with screeching guitars, stomping riffs and beat-heavy electronica.

Rounding off their mini UK and Ireland tour at the intimate Sound Control on March 2 will be something to behold for all rockers, moshers and hard dance party goers!
